Vicki of Sweet Pea’s is a proud member of the WCAA. Recently, Vicki attended the WCAA conference in Central New Jersey. Since the WCAA is an important organization, here is a summary from the WCAA’s website about us page.
What is the WCAA?
The Window Coverings Association of America is the only national nonprofit trade association that is dedicated to the retail window coverings industry. Our members include its dealers, decorators, designers, and workrooms. WCAA was founded in 1986 as a division of the National Decorating Products Association. In 1993, the association left and became the Window Coverings Association of America. Finally, today, the WCAA has almost 1,000 members in North America, Europe and the Caribbean.
Mission Statement
The mission is to make available educational opportunities, to encourage a code of ethics for fair practices, and to work for the betterment of the retail window coverings industry.

In addition, the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) is proud to announce the release of the revised and updated, Workroom Quality Guidelines, Definitions of Industry Terms, and the Standardization of Window Treatments. Over the last year, the WCAA Education Committee, the Industry Guidelines Subcommittee and the Industry Guidelines Panel have worked closely to update this document.
